I can remember my brother showing me some basic HTML tags when I was about 10, and since then I’ve always worked hard to keep up with the latest web technologies such as PHP, MySQL, Apache and AJAX.

I’ve also worked on a number of open source content management system deployments including the use of Drupal, Joomla!, WordPress and MediaWiki.  One of my main functions working with the Federal Government was researching the use of and customization of open source tools for collaboration as well as dissemination within the Government of Canada.  I worked extensively on the Government of Canada Wiki GCPEDIA including writing an extension that is still in use today.
